Bsc Nursing Jharkhand

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has officially released the notification for the B.Sc Nursing (Basic & Post Basic) Entrance Competitive Examination 2026. This entrance examination is conducted every year for admission into government and private nursing colleges across Jharkhand for the academic session 2026–27. The online application process started on 16 July 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their application before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc Nursing (Basic)

To apply for Basic B.Sc Nursing, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

• Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English.
• Minimum 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
• Minimum age should be 17 years as on 31 December 2026.
• Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible as per the notification.
• The candidate must be medically fit.

B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic)

Candidates applying for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing should have.

• Passed Intermediate OR 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized university OR passed 10+1 in or before 1986.
• Obtained a Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurse Registration Council.
• For Male Candidate Qualification Read Notification.

Application Fee

• All candidates, including female candidates from states other than Jharkhand, will be treated as General category candidates and must pay the application fee applicable to the General category.
• The application fee must be paid online only through the official payment gateway using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Applicable bank or transaction charges, if any, will be borne by the candidate.
• The application fee, once paid, is non-refundable
