DMLT stands for Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.It is a 2-year diploma course (plus 6 months compulsory internship) that turns you into a skilled lab technician.
Today, every doctor needs lab reports to treat patients properly. Blood test, sugar test, dengue, malaria, typhoid, thyroid, liver-kidney function, cancer screening all these reports are made by lab technicians like you. Without you, doctors can’t do their job properly.
After finishing this course, you can easily get a good job because hospitals and labs always need trained technicians. You can work in:
- Government hospitals
- Private hospitals
- Blood banks
In Jharkhand, this course is fully controlled by the Jharkhand State Paramedical Council. That means the syllabus, exams, and certificate are the same in every college
